October 17th 2008 - This is my first time in West Sikkim. I planned to stay at Pelling for next 2 days. I reached at around 5.30 PM at evening. The sun was set;in dark evening i reached my hotel in upper pelling. The arrangement was good. The next morning - the deity and all mighty Mt. Kachenjungha welcomes me with her beauty. I was there for 3 days - covering all the site seeing as well as Dentam valley Singshore Bridge and Uttary. During my 3 days - though i managed a little time for birding (as it was a family trip) - but i was happy to find many colorful birds around my hotel and way to Dentam valley. The list is herewith;
