Bengal Birds

Hi Folks!!

This sunday me and my brother visited KhoriBari Bheri. From Rajarhat Choumatha - through Bus No.211 - we reached at Khoribari at 11.30 AM - not a good time to watch. This time our objective was - to know the place in details. We talked with some fisheries and they told - before Khoribari, on the same route - there are other bheries near to Kambini More - which is also good spot for bird watching.

Birds what we watched there:

1) White breasted kingfisher
2) House swift
3) Palm swift
4) Pond heron
5) Purple heron
6) Open billed strock
7) Little Egret
8) Large Egret
9) Waders - looks like plover - but could not identify
10) White wagtail
11) Yellow wagtail
12) Grey wagtail
13) Cormorant
14) Long tailed shrike

We are planning to visit the same spot in early morning time.
